Silly little rabbit....

Sure, Sure...

I admit it...

I dont always have the right head set...

No not the damn horse...

Myself...

Riding Marshal around the barn the other day, he was stop, snort, stop snort...gahh!

I was frustrated...

Then I talked to my trainer, Bonnie...

Maybe I needed to re-check..

Maybe I needed to give my horse a break...

Maybe I needed to TAKE IT FROM THE HORSES PERSPECTIVE!

mutter * grumble * poop

Yes.. He was stopping because he was unsure.. He was stopping because he saw something that made him uneasy..
And guess what Kiddies,

HE DOES NOT SEE ME as well KNOWING THIS ARE SAFE...

So what do I gain in forcing him...
What do I gain in whipping him to go, or spurring him...

He still will think its spooky, and now he associates pain and frustration with it... and guess what..

I AM THE LOSER here..

duh...

So "She" says..

Give him a minute..

Let him think, yeah I wanted to stop..

Yes I like to stop here..

heck its a good time to read my iPhone...

Lets stop, smell the roses.. and then when I ask to go, if you dont go, then lets just piddle with your feet a bit...
Move the hind, move the front... get a step, then stop...

Ahh.. progress..

But then I noticed, oh he was nervous about that post, that drain, that road bit.. He started to show me what he was upset about...

Ahh...

ok...

Some things are never what they first appear to be...

Hi Ho!
