Day 11

Had a busy weekend, with little horse interaction, but tons of people interaction :P
I very much favor the later.

Did get to spend a little time with the horses though, more in passing then actual working. Mac made it down on Sunday for about an hour so I was able to show him the progress I have made with Emma. That was pretty cool. Last year, with the flag, or a plastic bag, she was checked out. I would get the wall eye ( where you see the white of the horses eye, and then the snorting. She was off, all four feet moving.

now she stands there, and almost looks bored... Yeah!

Now its time to ride.

Bucks clinic is in may down in Salinas, he is Doing H1 and Colt starting. Since I didnt want to buy another horse, I searched my friend pool for someone who may have a horse I could start. Lucky for me I know of 2 kind ladies who own 14 horses with little or no handling. All good horses, but it would be nice if someone could help them out, and if in way it could help me out. Of course I will pay stall fee, but in the end I am not saddled with another horse, and they get a horse that if they keep up with it, they can ride. I am hopeful I can document the process here...

Going to see Emma and Marshall at lunch.

Hi Ho.
