Just bite her ear.

Its the old saying, when making love to the virgin, at the point of entry, to bite her ear to distract her from the pain.... well.. it works with horses.. Ok, dont let your imagination go wild...

so I am riding in the round pen working on the trot - canter transitions. My bucky boy loves these and has found that if he gets "anxious" he can usally distract me from wanting to do this because well, he is a bucky boy...

Enter in the two headed bucking cougar chased clown suit riding a pig...

In the arena there were two horses and a half.. the half was a pony..
Well they are running around bucking, going full bore..

My bucky boy can see them from the round pen where we are working...
He is getting "up"...

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

So I picture in my mind that in the arena there is really two headed bucking horse chased by a cougar being herded by a clown riding a pig...basically the scarist thing I think my horse could ever see...

I picture that, but continue to work on what I was working on... and then something magical happened...

My horse didnt care about what was going on in the arena....

Ahh...

I figured I would just get past the bucking horse and go right to full freak out..
but I remained calm inside... and so did he..

One small step for me!
